Why Counselling?
Often referred to as one of the ‘Talking Therapies’, Counselling is the therapeutic
working relationship between you and your counsellor.
Counselling offers you:
- Confidentiality - Allows you to feel safe in the knowledge that your personal information
and experiences cannot be disclosed to anyone else (except under very special circumstances
which will be explained to you on our first meeting)
- Acceptance - Allows you to face honestly and explore your more negative feelings.
- Empathy - Allows you to feel understood.
- Genuineness - Allows you to be who you really are.
